My V agina Got Me F’kd Up
MY VAGINA GOT ME FCK'D UP an experiential celebration of women through an unapologetic lens highlighting sexuality and sensuality. The exhibit explores the various stages women undergo throughout their sexual exploration and growth while overcoming societal judgement.
Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony (EGOT)-winner Whoopi Goldberg visited pop-up art installation /fem'n'3d/ at Newark Arts Festival 2018 to support granddaughter and visual contemporary artist Amarah Skye who was part of an all female creative experience entitled 'My Vagina Got Me Fck'd Up' featuring artist Bailey Li, Erika Milele Hicks, Stephanie Mills, Nichola Scott and curated by Ericka Régine. Showing through October 14th - 42 William St. Newark, NJ
/fem'n'3d/ is a thematic art series that utilizes unconventional spaces to personify the inner dialogue of the modern day woman.
A Thematic Art Exhibition
The traveling installation served as a playground for collaboration and social experimentation through the lens of the female creative.
Immersive Experience
Each artist that participated in the installation represented a different artisanship, Seamstress, Interior Designer, Tattoo Artist, Stylist, Writer, Painter, and Producer. Through each of their specialties they owned their story and produced based on the feelings and emotions from personal experiences.
